Pott Candles: Turning a Flicker into a Flame with Get Better

Pott Candles, founded by Ailis, embodies the perfect balance of craftsmanship and sustainability. Known for their hand-poured candles, Pott has cultivated a loyal customer base drawn to their quality and ethos. The Solution

From the outset, our goal was to provide clarity, consistency, and strategy—ensuring every aspect of Pott’s email marketing reflected their brand values and engaged their loyal customer base.

  • Full Flow Audit & Fixes: We prioritised repairing underperforming automations, including Welcome Series, Post-Purchase, and Abandoned Checkout flows, ensuring they were working in harmony rather than overlapping.

  • Revenue-Driving Enhancements: We restructured key flows to increase engagement and repeat purchases, adding segmentation for a more personalised experience.

  • Introducing New Automated Flows: Building out the Recharge flows, cross-sell flows, replenishments, sample follow-ups, and owner guide flows.  

  1. End-to-End Campaign Management

  • Taking full ownership of campaign strategy, we built and executed weekly email sends that aligned with product launches, seasonal moments, and brand storytelling.

  • We refined segmentation strategies to ensure the right message reached the right audience at the right time.

  • We optimised mobile-first templates for a seamless experience, improving conversions across devices.

  1. A True Agency Partnership

  • We became an extension of the Pott Candles team, working closely with their internal stakeholders to align email strategy with business goals.

  • Regular reporting and analysis allowed us to iterate quickly, ensuring that every decision was backed by data and delivering results.

  • We introduced A/B testing across flows and campaigns to continuously optimise performance.

  • We support the in-house Pott Candles e-Com team & consult on the wider Marketing spectrum whilst building their Email Marketing strategy

  1. Technical Support & Integration Management

  • We streamlined tool integrations, including Judge.me for automated review requests, Recharge integration to create a cohesive look and feel for all emails and subscription alerts ensuring a seamless customer experience.

  • Improved reporting allowed Pott to track key KPIs such as open rates, click-through rates, and revenue attribution more effectively.

The Results

Our partnership with Pott Candles delivered significant improvements in email marketing performance:

  • Click rates increased by 14.72% for Campaigns after introducing SMS campaigns. 

  • Open rates are on an average of 57.46% (campaign and flows). 

  • Revenue from email campaigns grew by 95.47%, increasing by £13,396.67.

  • Revenue from flow automation grew by 201.30%, increasing from £6,482.61 to £19,532.13. 

  • AOV improved by 10.42% on all orders.
